Carmen Electra, born April 20, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio as Tara Leigh Patrick, is an American actress, dancer, entertainer and socialite. She’s best known for her appearances in Playboy magazine, and television series Baywatch. Her career started at the age of 18, when she became a dancer at a Kings Island park. To further her career she moved to Los Angeles and started auditioning for an all-girl hip-hop group. When she met Prince, he convinced her to change her name to Carmen Electra and pursue her career as a solo artist instead.

Her singing career however did not take off. After her appearance in Playboy for the first time, her career swiftly took off, making her an instant celebrity, a position that allowed her to land a role in such a blockbuster as Baywatch alongside Pamela Anderson. Her popularity prompted her return appearances in Playboy, including several covers. When she started to further her acting career, she scored appearances in multiple movies, such as “Scary Movie”, working together with Anna Faris and Shannon Elizabeth, “Date Movie”, “Epic Movie”, “Meet the Spartans” and many others. Carmen won an MTV Award for best kiss in “Starsky & Hutch”. She has been romantically involved with a rap star B-Real of Cypress Hill and Tommy Lee, a drummer of Motley Crue. She was later briefly married to Dave Navarro, famous guitarist of Red Hot Chili Peppers, but divorced him less than 4 years later.

She had an older sister, Debbie, who died from a heart attack, also in 1998. Tara graduated from Princeton High School in Sharonville.
