Eva Mendes at the Rome Film Festival Photos

Keeping a busy schedule during her overseas excursion, Eva Mendes has been a mainstay at the 5th International Rome Film Festival in Italy over the past few days.

In town promoting her upcoming movie "Last Night," the 36-year-old actress hit the red carpet on Saturday (October 30) to attend the "La Dolce Vita" world restoration premiere at Auditorium Parco Della Musica.

The previous evening, Miss Mendes joined alongside director Massy Tadjedin to check out the Rome premiere of the upcoming movie "Little White Lies".

Eva Mendes, born on March 5, 1974 in Miami Florida, is a Cuban-American actress and model. Despite her aspirations to be a nun due to her Catholic upbringing and not considering Hollywood career, a talent agent she met convinced her to pursue acting career. Her exposure began with her appearing in numerous commercials and music videos, such as Will Smith’s “Miami” and Aerosmith’s “Hole in My Soul”. Her first acting job came with a direct-to-video sequel “Children of the Corn 5” lead to her being cast in more serious roles, 

such as “Stuck on You” and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico”, earning her a nomination at Teen Choice Awards. Her appearance in “Training Day”, working alongside Denzel Washington, was highly acclaimed critically. Besides her acting career, she is widely known for her representation Revlon Cosmetics as a spokeswoman, bringing her to the same status as Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and Cindy Crawford. Mendes has also appeared on several covers of Maxim magazine, and was ranked seventh overall on the magazine's 2007 Hot 100 list. She was also voted as number four in 2008 and first overall in 2009 AskMen.com top 99 Most Desirable Women list.
