Katrina goes from ‘Sheila’ to ‘Rockstar’ | Pictures | Wallpapers | Photos | Hot Still
After grooving to the saucy ‘Sheila ki jawaani’, Katrina Kaif will be seen in a 1970s rockstar avatar in the song ‘Dhunki’ from ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’.Kat, dressed casually in a pair of shorts, a white t-shirt and a bright orange inner, holds a guitar in the song, and looks like a complete rockstar.
The 27-year-old shot for the song at Agra Fort, and a crowd of over 1,000 gathered in no time, according to a source from the sets of the movie, which is being made under the Yash Raj Films banner. The filmmakers were lucky to get authentic shots of the crowd. But it was quite a pain to get Katrina out of there. A team of policemen was called to escort the actress out, and she was taken away in a police van. ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ also stars Imran Khan and Ali Zafar. The movie releases September 9, 2011.

Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif are all set to rock at the box office. One of the most awaited romantic filck from the Yash Raj banner, is all set to release this September.
We will see a totally new Katrina Kaif, the rocker chick! Talking about Kats performance in the film, Imran told a tabloid, “I think Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is going to be a very, very relevant film for her; it’s going to be a very big film for her. The way she has worked on her character and worked on herself for this film is going to show people what she is capable of.”

Katrina Kaif is one lady, adjectives fail to describe. Katrina Kaif is everything humble, beautiful, cute, sexy, ravishing, super gorgeous, lovely, voluptuous, mesmerizing, vivacious and a sight to behold. Katrina Kaif, a cancerian was born on 16th July, 1984, 5’8 tall and is 23 years old. Katrina’s parents are British though her father has a Kashmiri origin. Katrina was born in Hong Kong and then brought up in Hawaii.. She spent most of her adult life in London before shifting to Mumbai. Katrina is the girlfriend of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Katrina Kaif bagged her first modeling assignment when she was just 14 in Hawaii. She modeled for a jewelry brand. Later she started modeling in London. The moment she landed in India, the gorgeous babe Katrina was at the receiving end of many modeling offers as well as chance to act in movies. Katrina’s flawless beauty, expressive face and her sexy figure was the apple of every producer’s eye. Though language, Indian as well as Hindi has been a problem to the foreign bred Katrina, she has made positive efforts to polish her diction and language. Salman has contributed handsomely to her personality and her diction but ironically Salman has attained a stupid firangi accent. Hopefully Katrina is not blamed for the damage.

Katrina Kaif has done two films with Akshay Kumar . Katrina Kaif stars in two of the biggest hits of 2007-Partner and Namastey London. She is the only actress who manages to overshadow Akshay Kumar in sheer screen presence and histrionics as we saw in Namaste London.
Katrina Kaif’s future films include Welcome, Race, Yuvraj and Singhh is Kingg.

Rumors were rife that Salman Khan had been offered a romantic film by Yash Raj Films opposite Katrina Kaif. However, Salman doesn’t seem too keen on doing the film owing to the frugal amount offered to him for the role. Even working with her ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif too doesn’t seem an incentive too lucrative for him.

Katrina Kaif to go de-glam after her glam avatar in TMK
Katrina Kaif rocked the nation with her sexy avatar in ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and especially her item song ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’. Now, the actress will be seen in a role in dire contrast to what she played in TMK. This Prakash Jha film titled ‘Satsang’ will see Kats as a woman clad in an ochre robe and in search of spirituality. This upcoming film exposes the multi-billion global religion factory in India.
Her role in Satsang is so complex that even Jha was not sure, initially, if the actress could deliver. “It would be the most challenging part of my career so far,” says Katrina.
She plays the central character in the film which is semi-autobiographical in nature and is that of a woman from the West in search of Oriental spiritualism. Katrina will be seen sans makeup for the film and will have to get informed on the intricacies of the multi-billion religious industry in India.”
Katrina is already geared up for the role and says, “Prakashji and I have discussed the part in detail. This is one film that I’ve do the most preparation for. I’m open to the challenge.”
