Kangana Ranaut to play Madhubala for Anurag Basu’s next?

Gossip columns had been abuzz with the rumours that Anurag Basu was considering Katrina Kaif to essay the role of Madhubala for his next project which happens to be a biographical film on the legendry Kishore Kumar.
While the critics totally approved that Kats was an apt choice, there does seem to be some other candidates for the role. Rumors are making rounds that Kangana Ranaut has created impressions with her beauty and performance in ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and she is being considered for the role too.
It may be mentioned here that it was Basu who had launched Kangana in the tinsel town with ‘Gangster’. However, Kangana Ranaut and Anurag Basu had fallen out with each other when Ranaut had accused Basu in the media for slashing her role in ‘Kites’ but both seem to have made up with each other now.
While we feel that Katrina stands way ahead than Kangana in being the right choice to play Madhubala, who finally grabs the role, only time can tell………..

The Dutts are upset with Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut has proved that she does not believe in remembering obligations for long. The girl had been under much obligations from Dutt family with Maanyata Dutt helping her with a lot of things right from getting her a concession in her flat payment in Bandra to arranging a trip for her. Sanjay Dutt signed her in his home production ‘Rascals’ which also stars Ajay Devgan. Being a part of ‘Rascals’ has given Kangana a scope to get into some other big budgeted films.
Now, Kangana has shown her immaturity by upsetting Dutts by making inconsiderate remarks on their family. She has been heard telling friends that she doesn’t consider Sanjay and Maanayata family. Kangana hasn’t taken the pains of meeting Maanyata and her babies even once uptil now.
Being shocked by her rude comments, the Dutts have decided to drift themselves away from her. They did not attend her birthday bash and wont be inviting her to their family functions anymore.

Kangana Ranaut ushers in her 24th birthday with a bash

Tuesday night was all fun and frolic for Kangana Ranaut who ushered in her 24th birthday with a lavish bash for friends from the film industry at her residence in Santa Cruz, a western suburb in Mumbai.
Kangana looked gorgeous as ever in her chic black and orange dress. Among the bigwigs who joined in the celebration were Mallika Sherawat, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jimmy Shergill and director Madhur Bhandarkar. Those invited but who could not make it to the party were Sanjay Dutt, David Dhawan, Arjun Rampal, Ekta Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. But the star who stole the show was our ‘Dabangg’ Khan who walked in quite late at the party along with sister Arpita Khan, thus putting an end to the misunderstanding between him and Kagnana. Not to mention here that Kangana was overjoyed to receive this unexpected guest. The party was also interrupted by cops who reportedly fined Kangana for loud music.
Meanwhile, you check out ravishing Kangana in her Birthday Suit…. Oops! Her Birthday Dress!!

Kangana Ranaut has her way with ‘Tanu Weds Manu’

kangana ranaut1 200x244Mumbai, “Tanu Weds Manu”, which will see the fresh pairing of Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan, was initially titled “Manu Weds Tanu” but the name was changed at the lead actress’ behest.
Director Anand Rai felt “Manu Weds Tanu” was an appropriate title, but Kangana who plays Tanu in the film, insisted that the title should be “Tanu Weds Manu” and not “Manu Weds Tanu” because the narrative unfolds from Tanu’s point of view, said a source.
The director was taken aback, but Kangana explained her point saying Tanu, a small town, wild girl, is the one in the commanding position compared to Madhavan’s character Manu who is shown as a simple NRI guy in the comedy.
When the director spoke to Madhavan, thinking he would get upset, the actor saw the point immediately and readily agreed with Kangana.
“It’s true that the film was earlier titled ‘Manu Weds Tanu’. However, we felt that ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ was a more suitable title, according to the demands of the script. So we decided to go with ‘Tanu Weds Manu’,” said Rai.
The film will release Feb 25.
